Los Angeles, CA -On February 14, 2026, during the excitement of NBA All‑Star in Los Angeles, the Lindy Waters III Foundation partnered with Nike N7, the Jr. NBA, and the Jr. WNBA to host a special youth basketball clinic that brought joy, skill‑building, and inspiration to young athletes from across the region.

As part of the Jr. NBA/Jr. WNBA youth programming that accompanies NBA All‑Star celebrations, this clinic focused on teaching the fundamentals of the game, building confidence, and instilling core values like teamwork, respect, and resilience. Jr. NBA/Jr. WNBA clinics are designed to make basketball accessible and fun for boys and girls of all backgrounds, and this year’s events were no exception, creating a welcoming environment where young players could learn from professional coaches and mentors.

From first‑time dribblers to seasoned youth players, every participant brought energy and passion that reminded us why youth sports are so important. The coaching staff, including professional Jr. NBA clinicians and led in part by Lindy Waters III, delivered training sessions that emphasized both technical skills and the joy of playing the game.

A highlight for everyone involved was seeing each child walk away with Nike N7 gear — a token of support and encouragement that celebrates not just athletic ability, but personal identity and cultural pride. Nike N7 is committed to creating programs that support Native American and Indigenous youth through sport, and having that partnership at this clinic was incredibly meaningful.
