Basketball Camp Director/
Outreach Coordinator
4 to 6-Month Part-Time Contract
The Basketball Camp Director/Outreach Coordinator leads the planning and on-site execution of our basketball camps serving Native youth and communities.
This hands-on role blends program coordination, coaching, staff leadership, and community engagement to deliver high-quality, culturally grounded camp experiences.
Part-time contract (up to 10 hours per week outside of camp days)
Paid hourly at $30/hour
$750 stipend per camp day
All camp-related travel, lodging, and meals covered
Requires in-person leadership at all scheduled camps
ROLE OVERVIEW
Plan and coordinate basketball camps in partnership with tribes, schools, and community organizations
Lead on-site camp operations and serve as the Foundation’s primary representative
Provide hands-on coaching and instruction during camp sessions
Help to recruit and supervise coaches and volunteers
Ensure camps are safe, inclusive, organized, and culturally respectful
Conduct post-camp follow-up and reporting
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position includes an initial 30-day review period to ensure mutual alignment and progress toward program goals. During this time, the Director is expected to demonstrate active engagement and measurable forward movement in camp planning and coordination. Continued engagement will be based on communication, effort, and progress toward booking and executing camps.
